Sofia, 9 years old
“At the camp, through playing chess, I learned to stop and think first, instead of rushing.
Now I am more attentive and can concentrate on one task for longer.
I really enjoyed learning to cook. After practicing at the camp, I cooked soup for the whole family for dinner at home – they were shocked!
It was also great to walk in different parks and meet new friends.”
Parent’s note:
“Sofia has become calmer and more focused.
She no longer abandons a task, but sees it through to the end.
It is very valuable that she learned to cook simple food – and even did her homework by cooking chicken soup for dinner. We were very happy.
The trips from park to park gave her many emotions, navigation skills, and new acquaintances.”
Mark, 12 years old“At the camp, I learned to analyze my chess games. I became more attentive when doing the coach's assignments.
I can concentrate for longer periods without getting distracted.
We also learned survival skills in the city and in nature, and that was very interesting and useful.
And we cooked our own food, or rather, we were taught how to do it. When I made an omelet with vegetables for the whole family for breakfast, I was proud, and my parents were happy!”
Parent’s note:
“Mark has noticeably improved his concentration and started to think more before acting.
He really enjoyed the survival lessons in the parks. He talked about each park with interest, as if it were a new world.
And yes, he cooked a delicious breakfast for the whole family for the first time – it was a real gift. Thank you to the organizers and the coach.”
Nikita, 13 years old
“This camp taught me to think for myself, and to think calmly, without fear. I became more attentive. I liked the tasks about survival, orientation, and what to take with you on trips.
We were in different parks – that made each week new.
And I also made a berry smoothie at home, and it was very tasty and a pleasant surprise for my parents and younger brother and sister.”
Parent’s note:
“Nikita has become more confident, more patient, and has learned to concentrate.
He was amazed that the camp took place in a new park each time – he rediscovered the city and made new friends.
The cooking homework really worked: he made a berry smoothie and talked about its benefits. We are proud that he feels independent and grateful to the organization for such a summer gift for our son.”
